February Update…

Description

I can’t believe how much the boys are able to understand now. They have changed so much in just the last few weeks. They are just so independent. So many things are changing so fast. They can feed themselves. They can tell me milk or juice. Wow. Noah is even telling me that he wants to go potty. It’s always after the fact but it’s a start. I wasn’t even trying to train him. That’s my little engineer. He just has to figure everything out. I haven’t even told him that if he goes to the potty before he “goes” he gets an M & M. If I did, he would be in big boy underwear. Because that’s Noah, Mr. Figure It All Out. They are just happy little guys. I took them to Kindergym yesterday and was amazed at how well they played. Neither of them was clingy this time. Boohoo. I don’t think that I’m ready for all of this independence. Spring and Summer are going to be so much fun. I imagine we will spend most of our time this year outside. YAY! I am so tired of being in this house. The boys are also speaking a lot clearer. It is wonderful to have a conversation with them and be able to understand everything (most everything) they are saying. Will is just a little sponge. He can already identify some colors, shapes and numbers. I’m not pushing that either, he is. He wants to know what color everything is. Noah is just as smart, he just has better things to do. When asked he can identify those things too. He just doesn’t see it as a game the way that Will does. This life that we live is in a constant state of change and I say “Hang on and enjoy the ride”.
